The High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) is the primary archive for NASA missions
dealing with extremely energetic phenomena, from black holes to the Big Bang. Having recently merged with the Legacy
Archive for Microwave Background Data Analysis (LAMBDA), it includes data
obtained by NASA's high-energy astronomy missions from the extreme ultraviolet through gamma-ray bands, along with
missions that study the relic cosmic microwave background.

data near the north galactic pole. Use quotes around targets
that have embedded white space (e.g., 'ar lac').
COBE Satellite Marks 20th Anniversary(18 Nov 2009)
The Cosmic Background Explorer, launched on Nov 18, 1989,
discovered evidence to support the Big Bang theory and earned a Nobel Prize
for scientists John Mather and George Smoot.
Swift and XMM-Newton Satellites Tune into a Middleweight Black Hole(15 Nov 2009)
While astronomers have studied lightweight and heavyweight black
holes for decades, the evidence for black holes with intermediate masses has
been much harder to come by. Now, astronomers at NASA's GSFC find that an
X-ray source in galaxy NGC 5408 represents one
of the best cases for a middleweight black hole to date.
